Las Lomas del Mar is probably the best-kept secret in Manzanillo. The beautiful subdivision is located at the start of the Juluapan Peninsula, just to the west of the Vida del Mar condominium development.  The roads and utilities were installed almost 30 years ago and until four years ago there were only 10 or 12 houses built there.  It was a sleepy, almost unknown area.  Well, all that has changed and now it is quickly becoming one of the hottest areas and one of the last frontiers for truly affordable ocean and bay view real estate.  There are almost 30 homes completed and another 4 or 5 due to start this season. 

The homeowners' association has a website at LasLomasDelMar.com where you will find a map of the subdivision and its 355 lots as well as a wealth of information about the area.  Lots in Las Lomas del Mar are appreciating at an incredible 30% per year and more.  There are still some excellent values, but they won’t last long.
